More than a million of caregivers in Italy-on a total amount of one million and seven hundred- are waiting for a law acknowledgment of their work. An Adoc sample survey shows that 43% of Italian are in favor of domestic workers legalization-says Carlo Pileri, Adoc president-and it could account a large saving for Italian Treasury, approximately extimated at 45 milliard euros.

The state expenditure for caring old people is about 26.000 for each person and more 18.000 euro for each Italian family. Moreover, the taxes value for a caregivers legalization will be about 800 million euros, today completely dodged.

Adoc warn: if there will be not legalization, more than 600 thousand of old people will remain without care.
